29 (A)Shall I not punish [a]these people?’ declares Yahweh,
‘On a nation such as this
Shall I not avenge Myself?’

30 “A horrible and (B)appalling thing
Has happened in the land:
31 The (C)prophets prophesy with lying,
And the priests have dominion [b]by their own hand;
And My people (D)love it so!
But what will you do at the end of it?
